Nancy Sun is a Vice President at Forward.

Prior to joining Forward, Nancy was a Principal at KKR where she was a member of the Consumer Retail group within the America’s Private Equity platform, focusing on opportunities in the middle market. Prior to KKR, Nancy was a Vice President at Gryphon Investors, a middle market buyout firm, where she worked on investments across the branded consumer products sector. She joined as an Associate in 2018 and was promoted to Vice President in 2021. Nancy began her career as an Analyst in the Consumer and Retail group at Goldman Sachs.

Nancy graduated from University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business with a Bachelor’s of Business Administration. She led the only student-run, non-profit farm stand on campus, increasing accessibility to fresh and affordable produce. Nancy’s personal passion for culinary pursuits ranges from extravagant home cooked meals to simply wandering the aisles of a grocery store looking for the next big brand.
