Alyssa Puccinelli is a Principal at Forward.

Prior to joining Forward, Alyssa was at The Carlyle Group for over 5 years, where she focused on growth equity and buyout investments across the Consumer, Media, and Retail sectors. In her role there, she was responsible for all aspects of the investment process, including thesis development, due diligence, transaction execution, and ongoing portfolio company support.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Alyssa was an Associate at New Mountain Capital, where she focused on private equity and credit investing across a variety of industries. Alyssa began her career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Financial Sponsors Group at Morgan Stanley.

Alyssa graduated summa cum laude and phi beta kappa from Middlebury College, where she was captain of the women’s tennis team. She received an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Beyond Forward, Alyssa loves exploring great restaurants in and around New York City, where she lives with her husband, young son, and mischievous dog. Alyssa believes she has the best two jobs in the world: being a consumer investor and a mom.
